I was listening to Unique Salonga's Ozone and was reading an article about Amazon here at SCU's study lounge when I noticed Darius walking towards my table and so I lowered the volume of the music I'm listening to.

"Hi, Celestine, are you with anyone?" He asked me. I shook my head and smiled at him. He sat in front of me and began taking out his books, I suppose to study for an upcoming test or a quiz. I let Darius be and decided against initiating a conversation, thinking that he would be studying or doing a project or something.

I was scrolling through twitter, reading a social serye when I saw Darius' mouth move. I ignored the action thinking that he normally mouths words when studying. And then he snapped a finger in front of my face. Ano ba yan, kung kailan naman na kinikilig na ako, tsaka nya ako iistorbohin. I raised my head, my eyes meeting his, took one earbud off and raised my eyebrows, somewhat signaling him to speak.

"Oh, um, I was wondering if you have eaten, because it's, um, already past lunch time and we have been here since 9:00 am." Darius said.

​

"Ay ganon ba?," I looked at my wristwatch and surpisingly it already is 1:00 in the afternoon. "Well in that case, where do you suggest we eat" I smiled at Darius.

"Well, Celestine, I am craving for some Chinese food," 

​

"That sounds nice actually." I answered and we gathered our things and headed to the car park.
